C-Saw Tipperary is a completely volunteer and professional volunteer led service we have an opportunity to purchase the C-saw House for the community and need everyone who may be able to help in any way to please do so csaw is a registered charity and uses every cent in the services we provide and for future projects we want to bring to our community for both adults and young people, courses to help us all and support services to the family and friends in the community who need them and most of all to keep ever service FREE!
Vision
Establish a service to help reduce the number of suicides in South Tipperary and surrounding areas.
The objective of Community Suicide Awareness Workers is to put in place a facility that will enable us to provide a focused service to the people of South Tipperary and surrounding areas. This is in response to the significant increase in the number of suicides over the past number of years.
Our Aims
- Prevention - raising awareness and education in the community.
- Intervention - providing support to those in need.
- Bereavement - offering emotional and practical support for those bereaved by suicide.
