Vision
Establish a service to help reduce the number of suicides in Tipperary and surrounding areas.
The objective of Community Suicide Awareness Workers is to put in place a facility that will enable us to provide a focused service to the people of Tipperary and surrounding areas. This is in response to the significant increase in the number of suicides over the past number of years.
Our Aims
- Prevention - raising awareness and education in the community.
- Intervention - providing support to those in need.
- Bereavement - offering emotional and practical support for those bereaved by suicide.
