A Statement from our friends at the John O'Leary Celtic Supporters Club, Tipperary Town
May 24 last brought Celtic’s season to a close. We didn’t win the Scottish Cup but we still won the League and League Cup. So 2 out of 3 ain’t bad. We had a brilliant event in Quinlans, despite the result. We had the team from C-Saw Tipperary join us and we presented them with a cheque for €3000 on behalf of the John O’Leary CSC. We hope it helps you continue the fantastic work you do. Our committee were very honoured to receive a beautiful presentation from C-Saw as a mark of friendship, thank you very much for that. We would like to thank everyone who joined us yesterday and throughout the season for different events and for matches. We have a fantastic membership spread throughout South Tipperary and much further afield and it’s these fantastic members that make our club so special. Huge thanks to Ian, Brenda and all the staff in Quinlans Bar who have looked after us since the club was relaunched. Also, big thanks to Blackthorn for the brilliant music yesterday, we will certainly book you again.We now look forward to next season. We will have a different charity of the season and will be hosting a number of functions and planning another club trip to Glasgow. We hope all our members stay with us and that we can welcome some new faces too. Membership is open for the new season and is €10 for adults and €5 for U18s. The more the merrier. So join the John O’Leary Celtic Supporters Club and help us continue to grow and get more and more people following the Hoops.
